We're Back By Popular Demand!
We thought Bling Fling 3 would be our last, but you
thought different! So dust off your tiaras and get ready to sparkle and
shine at Bling Fling 4 - our 4th Trainers and Tiaras Charity Walk and
Party.

This year the funds will once again be split equally between two local
charities.
Firstly, supporting the
work of Prof. Heys and his team within the breast cancer care and
research projects at ARI. It was the intention of Bling Fling to help fund a brand new Breast
Cancer Care Unit at ARI. However, due to the very recent decision to relocate all Breast Cancer
Services at ARI to Ward 30, it may be at least 12 months before an
appropriate
location can be finalised for the new centre. After much discussion,
we decided to ask Prof Heys and his team to ring fence the
funds already donated for the Centre last year and use them for the new
Centre at Ward 30.
Lastly, we are also delighted to support the fantastic work
that local charity Archway does with over 200 children, young people and
adults with
learning disabilities from throughout the North east
by helping to fund a range of special equipment, outing and activities
that will ensure all their service users are given the best possible
chance to be all they can be.
